Well, I have to say I havent always been a big fan of Green
Day. So what? I am now and that's all that matters. Anyways, for most of my life, since I was like a baby, I've heard many
Green Day songs on the radio. Songs like, "When I Come Around", "Good Riddance", and "Basketcase." However, this wasnt
enough to win me over. (Why? I still dont know!) But these days, ten years later, I hear a certain song called "Boulevard
Of Broken Dreams" on the radio and I thought it was pretty good. It's just when the DJ said it was Green Day I was shocked.
How could that honestly be Green Day? But it was, and no sooner did they win the Grammy for best Rock Album for American Idiot.
Everyone was going off saying how good it was and blah, blah, blah...I still wasnt interested. Then I saw the music video
for Boulevard Of Broken Dreams then- WOW! They were extremely hot, and I have to admit I liked the song a lot more! And then
it hit me the next time I heard the song on the radio that I HAD TO GET THE ALBUM. So I did- and it blew me away. A couple
months after that, I find myself having bougt all of their albums and loving them, listening to them everyday, and kissing
my poster of Billie Joe Armstrong on my wall.
