If you wonder how on Earth I found out about them, well its pretty weird. Actually- if you heard their music- you would have never guessed they were good friends with Green Day. Well, they were. Back in the days when GD was an indie band, Operation Ivy was there with them at the Gilman club they used to play at. *amazing* I think that probably Green Day looked up to Operation Ivy. Even when Green Day was "sold out" to a big-time record label. Hmmm. Anyways, you get the point that Operation Ivy is pretty sweet and their lyrics are a little politically driven and such like. I think that they REALLY should have been given a chance in the big music world. Oh well. They just rock anyways.
